Kibisi, Saturday evening:150 smiling faces, all looking deeply fascinated at the same screen. I can’t stop smiling; this is what I’ve been waiting for, a dream coming true. I admit that there have been times where everything seemed impossible and days where I just wanted to give up and throw the computer out of the window. This Saturday evening at the Bongodox premiere, all these things are forgotten. I close my eyes, trying to capture this epic moment. Against all odds the team managed to create something special, which will set an example and be an important step on the way to a better future. “And now ladies and gentlemen…” today’s master of ceremony is shouting in the microphone “it’s time for food, drinks and dancing to celebrate the fantastic work of Bongodox…” Half an hour later the dance floor is bouncing and full of happy feet... Pamoja tunaweza - together we can!
"I didn't read the book, - but I saw the Film", heard the music - and met the Author! The ambitions of the film and the energy put into it is admirable. So is Katrine, whom I had the luck and inspiring pleasure to meet at the shore of Lake Nyasa, and again on her way back to Denmark. Here is a person who knows that both tears and laughs might be needed to reach a goal! Continuously Good Luck, - to all in the Bongodox-team!
